The Dynamic Movement Skills methodology uses a series of movements to improve a variety of motor skills which increases confidence and competence in functional movement, running and sport.
The Dynamic Movement Skills for schools (DMS) is easy to set up and fun to use. For primary schools the Junior System helps the children learn the fundamental directional movements of forward, backwards, sideward and diagonal movements helping to improve their gross motor skills, balance and coordination.
The Youth System used in secondary schools builds on the fundamental movements by improving body control, quickness, rhythm, agility and is also used by the young athlete to develop movement for sport.
The Pro System uses advanced movements incorporating single leg movements, dynamic balance, speed and explosiveness to enhance the sports performer in their movement abilities.
The Dynamic Movement Skills system incorporates testing which can be utilised to measure a child’s development over the weeks.
